The orphaned boys have continued tending to their gardens, and have been so proud of their little crops which serve to feed them as well as generate a little income for their needs. Theo has started breeding pigs and chicken, to generate income towards the running of the school.

During the school holidays, Jacques (who graduated from High School in June and has now started university majoring in agronomy) comes baby to his native village of Kikimi and coaches the younger boys in their gardening, teaching them what he has learned. The results were so encouraging!
