1   Back to School

We would like to express our deep gratitude to all of you who have come forward and gave your contributions to help the most disadvantaged children come back to school for another year, those who do not have the means to cover the minimal school fees. Out of the 400 students who attend our school (both primary and secondary) about 10% are unable to.

Mr. Neeraj committed to sponsor 10 children for the full school year. Mrs. Munshi (Little Jewels School) also 10 children, and GG Mart (Deepak and Neema) 11 children. Thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts!

2   Screen Printing of the uniforms

As mentioned last month, Mrs. Zaïda donated the materials to make the school uniforms. Thanks to Mrs. Neema who helped us start our very own local screen printing shop last year, we were able to print the logo of our school on the new uniforms which the students are proudly wearing.

3   Distribution of notebooks and pens

We are very grateful to the Rizwan Adatya Foundation who came all the way to Kikimi to distribute notebooks, pens and even biscuits to the children. They have faithfully helped our school for decades with needed school supplies.

4   Distribution of Food Products

A dear old friend, Mr. Mahesh, who supported our school for years, had to stop for a while when he lost his job. He recently contacted Theo to tell him he would like to help again since he got a new job. God bless him! He donated a generous amount of food products which we will give to the neediest families. Children study so much better on a full stomach!

5   Aristote’s Bakery and new job

Although the bakery is continuing to produce bread and provide for many families, it is having a hard time to generate sufficient income in order to break even once all expenses are paid, much less invest in order to produce more.

Our dear friend Neema helped Aristote get a job as a foreman in a big construction company, while he left his older brother in charge of the bakery. Please pray for him to do well and earn enough to be able to invest more in the bakery so he can fulfill the vision the Lord has given him.
