1   Education: end-of-school-year celebration

Before the start of the summer holidays, the beginning of July was marked by a big celebration where the students were congratulated for their good grades. They recited poems, sang the national anthem in Lingala et performed a little skit about the famous story about king Solomon. All the parents were so proud. Only three out of 462 students will have to repeat their school year.

2   Distribution

We are very thankful for Marsavco who donated household and food products for the school.

Mrs. Neema donated spaghettis, 2 sacks of rice, 2 sacks of corn semolina and 1 sack of manioc flour. She also brought a good collection of toys for the children, shoes and clothing. God bless her!

3   Aristote’s Bakery Project

Last month’s robbery has been a sad setback for Aristote. He has managed to keep afloat and to take care of all the legal registrations but it is a struggle as the funds he had saved to pay back his debt have been stolen. He would need to increase his stock in order to produce more. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you so much.
