My name is Aristote Avali. Serving God became my passion 3 years ago. I felt called to reach children using the STEPS Program and the Lord led me to do STEPS classes and activities with street children. In the beginning it was difficult, but the Lord really helped me and now many of these children have returned home and are attending school. His grâce was upon us.

Then some teenagers started joining us, and the Lord gave me the burden to reach them. I had to create two different classes, one for the children and one for the teens. Some of these young people have now become samples to the others and are starting to witness to their peers.

More recently, some of the parents also started coming to pray with us and the Lord is showing us that we may need to have our own church in order to help people get back on the right track with the teachings we are giving them, which is transforming them.

So while I continue using the STEPS Program with the children and also the teenagers, I use the 12 Foundation Stones and the Family Core Values with the adults. For now, since we don’t have a church yet, we meet in the park.

I thank the Lord for having called us to such a great mission. As the Lord is sending me, my goal is to bring these people’s hearts back to their Creator. The Lord urges us to lay down our lives to save souls, so there is urgency in the heavens. “Say not ye there are yet four months and then cometh harvest. Behold I say unto you, look on the fields for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35-36. Eze. 3:17-19.

Below are some testimonies from the adults who are attending the Bible classes:

Ruth Edinkom: I am a doctor, a general practician and am 39 years old. All my life, I have never been able to find a solid love relationship. I consulted many prophets and spiritual people to help me find the love of my life and was wondering if there was a reason why I shouldn’t get married.

Some prophets told me that my marriage had been sold in the world of darkness, that I have children under water and a husband in the night. Some spiritual man told me that I was the slave of my family, so I ran away from home. Then one day, a lady told me to go with her son who prays and studies God’s Word every Sunday evening. That is how I met pastor Aristote. After I told him my life’s story, he asked me: “if what these prophets have told you really have an impact on your life, don’t you think that what Jesus accomplished on the cross can do more?” I then realized that the reason I was seeking God was for my own interest. So I confessed all my sins and my miserable life, all the abortions I had done, and I fasted and prayed. Our Lord Jesus Christ always gives the victory and I am now happily married. PTL.

My name is Dorcas and I am 25 years old. Some strange things happened to me. I was supposed to go pray with pastor Aristote at the end of the month, but on that day I didn’t want to go. So I took some pills which made me dizzy so I didn’t go. I ended up being sick with malaria and I had to be taken to the hospital, but none of the medication worked. I became unconscious. I had to be transferred to a bigger hospital. That’s when my mother called pastor Aristote to pray desperately for me. He came right away with another brother before I got transferred. They had to put me on a motor-taxi as there was no ambulance or car available. They decided to bring me to another hospital, because there was so much traffic on the main road leading to the general hospital that they realized I may die before getting there. They took turns to pray for me all throughout the night. The Lord helped me and healed me and now I am the first one to witness about the power of prayer which saved my life. Thank you Jesus for healing.

My name is Chansard. I am 27 years old. I am a student and orphaned of both father and mother. I do pray, but not with a full knowledge of the Lord. I always have a hard time studying. One day, pastor Aristote told me we could learn about Jesus-Christ. At the time, I had been forced to stop my studies because the priest could no longer pay for my university. So I prayed with Aristote for the Lord to help me finish my studies. Then the Lord did a miracle, as my name showed up among those whose studies had been paid for. I had no idea who could have paid for me, it was a real miracle of God. So we went to praise the Lord and afterward on my way home, Aristote calls me. There was a man standing outside in front of his car, and when he heard Aristote say my name, he asked if by chance I was the son of my poor late father. He also asked the name of my mother, and then asked about me. After I told him, he said: “If for the love of God I can help you, I can place a recommendation for you at the minister’s office where I work.” So now I am working there and I am just waiting for my salary. All I can do is thank the Lord Jesus Christ who is a true father for the orphans.

Miriam: I am a student in university and I am 39 years old. I heard from my sister Ruth Edinkom about this prayer group, so I thought I should also follow God. One time we went to the park to pray, there were only 5 of us that day. We sang and danced and praised the Lord and then sat down on the grass to share the Word. When I got up, I dropped my phone, and when I bent down to pick it up, I saw a big viper. Everyone got scared, but we all praised the Lord for protecting us. God is not only in the Bible, He is alive! The same God who closed the lions’ mouth for Daniel had just saved our lives!

My name is Christian Avali, I am 60 years old and Aristote’s father. I am a smoker and I drink alcohol. I have been a teacher for 26 years and spent all my youth teaching. When I heard about what my son is doing, I asked God to forgive me. Four times I had taken the test to become an inspector at the ministry of primary, secondary and university education, but I was rejected each time. After I repented of my sinful ways, I asked my son to pray for me, and when I took the exam again this time I was accepted! The Lord had mercy on me and now I have become a principal provincial inspector. I am only waiting for the salaries to be given.

My name is Vital, I had problems with my prostate, diabetes and HBP. I reached the point there I had to have a urinary catheter, which was not easy. Then we started praying with my nephew Aristote and I got miraculously healed! They took out the catheter and I can function normally again. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for His healing.

My name is Exaucé and I am 22 years old. I was thinking of multiplying money with my best friend Mado, so we went to see the fetishist who was a tribal chief. He asked us for $50 to multiply money, and he started with his chanting and pulling out his wooden statues. We started to protest when all of a sudden fire started in one of the rooms. He blamed us saying that the statues didn’t like being called wooden statues in their temple, so he started chanting again to appease the spirits. Then he wanted us to pay another $50, but we told him we didn’t have any more money. So he said that we had to wash our hands in a certain basin, otherwise we would both lose our minds. As I started washing my hands, I realized that I had uttered the name of Jesus Christ out loud because I was afraid. Immediately we all fell down on the ground, the fetishist, my friend and I, as if we had been electrocuted. My friend and I then ran away, and I saw my hand had turned all red, as if it had been burned. I went to speak with pastor Aristote and confessed my sins to him and we had prayer and fasting. Now everything is back to normal, even my hand has been restored. The name of Jesus Christ is so powerful, it is the most powerful weapon to chase bad spirits. Now I never go to sleep without calling on the name of Jesus Christ.
