1 Education

July first was the examination date for the 6^th graders in order to obtain their Primary School Education Certificate. Our school once again was used as an examination center for the other schools in the area.

The next day the final exams for the 10^th graders took place, which will help to orient them for their last 2 years of High School.

2 Graduation Day

On July 5^th, a graduation ceremony was held to celebrate the end of the school year and the accomplishments of the students. The parents are always very proud of their kids, especially if they recite poetry or play in a skit or receive special honor for their accomplishments.

3 Distribution of Goods

A big Thank You to MARSAVCO for their donation of cleaning supplies and staple foods, which are a big help to our school and medical center.

4 Maintenance

Some of the pipes of the water system had to be replaced. To stay on top of all the maintenance of the buildings is an important part of the project in order to ensure its longevity.

5 Youth Ministry: Rehabilitating Street Children

The association “Jeunes au Soleil” is dedicated to sheltering street children and rehabilitating them from a life of crime and misery. Many of these kids have been kidnapped and used by gangs to rob and even commit violent crimes. “Jeunes au Soleil” strives to find where these children come from in order to return them to their families. Aristote offered to use the STEPS Program to rehabilitate them and instill in them godly values while helping them to overcome the trauma and abuse they have suffered. He started the program this month with the theme “Friendship”.
