1 Education
While the primary and secondary students take their year-end examinations, our kindergarden kids are getting introduced to the library.
Let’s watch our 4th graders during a geography class:
2 Distribution of Goods
Thank you to Mr. Mahesh for donating all these food products: sardines, sugar, oats, pasta, canned fish.
Thank you to Marsavco for donating health and hygiene products.
With the citronella that grows in the garden, we make tea which is very effective in protecting the children from malaria. The palm nuts are harvested for cooking and the surplus is sold to help support the school (the red unprocessed palm oil, rich in vitamins A, E and anti-oxydants, is an essential part of Congolese cooking).
3 Maternity
Pre and Post-natal care.
4 Mrs. Neema’s Visit
Our school had the honor to receive dear Neema, who came all the way from Kinshasa over long and very rough terrain to visit us. Besides distributing snacks to the children, she also donated rice, mais, soap, sugar, oil, spaghettis, salt and powdered milk. We are so thankful for her and all her encouragement which really touches our hearts.
5 Youth and Children’s Ministries
Besides giving character-building classes to the street kids he has rescued, Cedric gives Bible classes to young people who are eager to develop a personal relationship with the Lord.
Fabrice is covering the topic of honesty this month with the children he teaches, and Aristote’s ministry is growing from children to teenagers to young adults who are flocking to him for help and counsel.
6 A call for Peace in the East
This month, Richard presented his documentary “A Killing Machine” in two more universities in North Kivu. We continue to pray for its impact to help bring peace and lasting solutions in the region.
