1 Education
Thank you to Mrs Neema for the coloring books.
Thank you to Mrs Sunita for her donation of an indoor swing set for our preschool.
2 Distribution of goods/Services to the Poor
The Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries came to visit early November to inspect the fishing ponds project, the cassava fields, the orchard and the old piggery and will register SABEC as a viable structure in Congo. Congratulations to Theo and Florence for their exemplary management of the entire project, whether it be education, health or agriculture.
It’s mango season, rich in vitamin C.
A big thank you to all our donors who contribute to the good health and well-being of the children: food, drinks, medicine, diapers, coloring books and even a soccer ball.
3 Pre and Postnatal Care
4 Maintenance
Installation of the lighting rod on the roof of the medical center. The next step will be to order a new controller to be shipped from France and two surge protectors. Then we will need to have the well maintenance done. We had set some funds aside for the well maintenance, but had not anticipated the raise in prices, nor this unexpected damage from the thunder storm. Please help by sharing the following link to your friends and contacts: https://liftup.com/project/clean-water-for-3000-in-the-congo/#project. Thank you so much in advance!
5 Children Programs
Excursion to the zoo: Fabrice is organizing an outing to the Kinshasa Zoo in December for the children in the STEPS program. This will require the rental of a bus as well as the entrance fees to the zoo and the purchase of some refreshments for the children. The NGO he created has managed to take care of the education of a poor little girl.
Jose’s birthday: Cedric organized a birthday party for Jose in the orphanage, one of the street kids he takes care of. He tells us: “Last Sunday, it was Jose’s birthday. It was really nice, with the little I could manage to get. I got all the kids together and we shared a birthday cake and some drinks. it’s a good thing for these children to celebrate their date of birth, because it’s not something they did when they lived on the street. I have also noticed they are much better behaved, for which I thank God. I continue also to teach them character building values, and they are also adjusting to school and doing better”.

Congratulations, Richard, for using your talent as a film maker to fight for the wellbeing of the people of Beni who have endured such extreme suffering. We pray your film will help to restaure peace in this region.
