1     Education

Last month, you saw the project realized by our students who had majored in electricity. This month, please meet the high school students who have chosen pedagogy as their major. Their goal is to become teachers. They have been studying psychology, pedagogy, and didactic assistance and are now ready to start their practical training, by assisting the primary school teachers and learning to teach the children in our school.

2     Distribution of Food and other Products

We are so thankful for our faithful donors who provide nutritious food for the children of our school. At home, these children from poor families only eat once a day. Thanks to the additional food they receive at our school, they are able to study much better.

And thanks to the sanitary protections donated by GGMart, our girls no longer miss school and are able to excel in their studies.

3     Youth Ministry

Over a year ago, Fabrice had started his own NGO “PAS a PAS Congo” with the goal of providing training, qualitative food and health care to underprivileged children via his agribusiness activities. He has also been giving psychological support, and alphabetization to unschooled children, including English classes. Thanks to WeLiftUp, Fabrice has been able to develop his agricultural project and will invest in purchasing a computer to teach computer skills to the children he oversees.

Sadly, his partner and English teacher, Elie Tamuko, just got poisoned by jealous “friends” and passed away. Elie had recently been nominated as the number one interpreter of his church because of his multi-language skills and some people got jealous. Assassination by poison is sadly common practice in the DRCongo. His passing is a very great loss, both for his family, his friends, his partner Fabrice and the children he was teaching. Rest in Peace, dear Elie, and may those who took your life unjustly repent of this ominous sin.
