1 News from two orphaned boys
Twenty years ago, Jonathan and Gloire were two little orphaned boys that Theo and Florence took under their wings and who attended the school we built in 2010. After some research, Theo found them and they came to give their testimony. They both have done very well and learned a trade which is enabling them to support their family. They are so thankful for all the help they received which made it possible for them to succeed. We hope to be able to find more, as hundreds of children benefitted from our help.

6 Aristote’s Bakery Project
Thanks to our friend Neema who purchased two weeks’ worth of ingredients (flour, salt, yeast, sugar), allowing Aristote to reimburse her a little each month, he is able to launch his bakery project. Last night, he started with a first small batch, not a small challenge seeing they have no electricity at night in this part of town, like in many parts of Kinshasa.

7 Youth Ministry
Jacques has been using the STEPS Program during his Sunday School classes for many years now. This program is great for children aged between 4 and 12 years old. Some of these kids have now become teenagers, so Jacques has created a new program for them, that will serve as a preparation for the 12 Foundation Stones course geared for older teens and young adults. He continues to use the STEPS with the younger group.
