At the end of 2020, Aristotle and Olivier organized, over several weeks, an eschatology seminar with the students who had completed the Bible course of the 12 foundation stones. Here is Olivier’s report:
The purpose of this seminar was to introduce the students to the major teachings related to the upcoming events concerning the Endtime and the glorious return of Jesus.
To penetrate the mystery and understand the different interpretations of the book of Daniel, we used Mark McMillion’s video presentations and Scott Mac Gregor’s books on “Daniel the Prophet”, “The Rise and Fall of the Antichrist” and “From Here to Eternity”. We studied four chapters from the book of Daniel: Chapters 2, 7, 8, and 9, as well as the book of Revelation of John.
We talked mainly about the prophet Daniel, and we reviewed several prophecies that have already been fulfilled literally and that indicate that the rest will also be fulfilled literally.
God is love; He does not want future events to surprise us. He has chosen to put us in confidence about His plans for the future. His concern is to show the world that He is the true God and that He is in control of human history.
As Isaiah 46:11 says, “Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.”
This teaching on eschatology was new for most of the participants, and in their reactions they welcomed the initiative, saying that this topic is not often discussed in depth in their respective churches by their religious leaders.
We plan to continue this seminar this year by deepening other themes such as: the reconstruction of the temple, the mark of the beast, on the road to eternity, etc.
Maternity and Medical Center
In Kikimi, no cases of COVID have been detected since the beginning of the crisis. The maternity ward continues to deliver babies and the medical center continues to care for patients.
For every hill I’ve had to climb,
For every stone that bruised my feet,
For all the blood and sweat and grime,
For blinding storms and burning heat,
My heart sings but a grateful song –
These are the things that made me strong.
For all the heartaches and the tears,
For all the anguish and the pain,
For gloomy days and fruitless years,
And for the hopes that lived in vain,
I do give thanks, for now I know
These were the things that helped me grow!
